About Me
I’ve always been intrigued by the unspoken stories that drift among our communities while we are not there to hear them. News is not just a form of information sharing that spreads across our globe instantaneously – it’s a way of connection between people that have ideas and thoughts to share amongst an increasingly more intricate world. The ability to cover a news story is much deeper than just words and pictures, it is a gateway of clarity in an infinitely changing society run by ordinary people doing spectacular things. I was raised in a small town called Broomall outside of Philadelphia and there was always something appealing about the indescribable experiences people go through on a daily basis. Uplifting personal stories of success and dedication, powerful pieces on corruption and greed, and even stories that circle all sorts of oddities have always interested me. As an intuitive Senior at Shippensburg University, I have learned all about the differing possibilities our society could accomplish if only the correct information was provided for them. That is why I am dedicating this blog to an audience that I can relate to – other students in college who have an itch to know what is happening right now and how it is affecting them specifically. I want to voice my opinion on breaking news stories and how it may affect a college student like myself in either the long or short-term. I’m also culturally literate and love watching movies, reading books and experiencing all the sorts of adventures a 21-year-old college journalist can encounter by covering the right topics. I hope my words will speak for themselves when I cover what I believe is the most important topics both nationally and internationally for people to know.
